GUITAR / VOCALS
Jimi Hendrix was the main reason I became a musician.
I saw his performance in the film "Woodstock", and from then on, I knew what
I wanted to do.
Rock n' Roll! I originally began playing guitar around 1982. In 1983 I met Lynn
Ingle and we formed The Oath, one of the most enduring and successful bands
from Greenville, S.C. I was the original guitarist for the band up until 1993. We released three
independent albums during this time. "Broken Promises", "Promise Fulfilled", and "Grunge Rock
Lives". These releases sold well, considering they were all independent efforts. In 1993, I switched to bass
guitar after the band had no luck finding a suitable replacement bassist. I enjoy playing guitar and
bass, so the switch was fairly easy. In 2003, I switched instruments again,
this time playing lead guitar and guitar synthesizer. This adds a new dimension
to the band's already wide musical palate. I also have done studio work and
projects with other bands and musicians. I've produced, arranged and
mixed music, and recorded as a studio musician. I also run the live sound for
The Oath / Party Of Four. I'm proud that The Oath has been so successful,
and the future for the band is even more promising. With my newfound interest in web
design, this site is just one more contribution to the band I've put a lot of heart and effort
into.

I've added this new REVERBNATION PLAYER to provide a sort of musical "anthology"
to the page. These songs were recorded anywhere between 1985 and 2009. The
player includes originals and covers, and some live recordings as well. There
are also some projects I recorded outside of THE OATH. On these songs I might be
playing guitar, bass, or both...but I'm in there somewhere. It's an unorganized
history into my warped musical career.
